Artifact: financial_ai_refusal_gate_v1. This note separates a visible recommendation from an authorized financial action: the evidence date, missing evidence, uncertainty, refusal trigger, and prohibited action have to remain explicit before a workflow can move money or take risk.
Artifact
Financial AI can produce a fluent answer from stale prices, partial information, or an unverified identity claim. The review object asks what evidence is current, what is missing, and which action remains prohibited before the output receives additional authority.
Refusal
A refusal trigger is not a generic warning label. It is a recorded condition that blocks a transfer, trade, or risk increase when evidence is stale, uncertainty is material, or a required confirmation is absent.
Review
A useful challenge should identify a missing field, an unsupported causal link, a stale evidence timestamp, or a condition under which the proposed control fails. The protocol does not certify a product or guarantee a financial outcome.
The recommendation, allocation, execution, or financial capability claim under review.
The date and market context through which the available evidence remains current.
The data, counterparty fact, risk condition, or independent confirmation that is absent.
The uncertainty that remains after available evidence is recorded.
The condition that requires the workflow to stop, downgrade, or hand off.
The trade, transfer, leverage change, or commitment that the system must not make.
The scope change required when the current evidence cannot support the proposed action.
The recorded state: supported, narrowed, pending, or retired.
